Review- Zojirushi 2lb Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine

After spending endless hours measuring, mixing, kneading and waiting for the dough to rise, I finally decided to give up baking bread by hand. My fresh home-made bread had definitely spoiled my family. They let me know in no uncertain terms that store bought bread was not as delicious and satisfying as the bread I had been baking for years. Not one to disappoint, I began researching bread machines hoping to find one with great reviews. I needed to find a bread machine that could produce loaves as tasty as the ones my family was used to.

After a few days of surfing from one site to the next, I discovered the Zojirushi 2lb Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine. The Zojirushi 2lb Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine ranks in the top three of comparable bread machines. That’s nothing to shake a stick at, considering how many different brands are available. The Zojirushi 2lb Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine reviews were stellar, consistently receiving four or more stars with five being the best. The reviews convinced me to make the purchase. That was nearly a year ago and I have never regretted my investment. I only wish I had made this purchase sooner. The Zojirushi 2lb Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine is my new best friend. My hands, kitchen counters and kitchen floor aren’t covered in flour anymore. I no longer have to worry about cold drafts causing my dough to fall.

Baking my own bread and the quality of my loaves was always subject to so many different variables. There were times when no matter what I did, the dough just would not rise properly. If one follows the operating instructions in the owner’s manual, The Zojirushi 2lb Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine takes all the guessing out of baking a perfect loaf of bread every time. Its stylishly clean lines and easy to read control panel are frosting on the cake; the Zojirushi 2lb Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine is not just a bread machine. Sure it’s a pizza dough bread maker and raisin bread bread machine. But most bread machines on the market have a pizza dough and raisin bread setting. It is the Zojirushi 2lb Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine’s extra features that set it apart from its competition.

Here are just a few of the Zojirushi 2lb Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine’s extra features that set it in a class by itself: It has a setting for making home-made jam, a dough preparation setting (for those of us that wish to bake the bread in our traditional ovens), a cookie dough setting, a sourdough started feature, a setting for gluten free bread, a pasta dough setting, a rapid-bake setting for a fresh loaf of bread in about two hours. The Zojirushi 2lb Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine will even bake a meatloaf! One of my favorite features is the delayed baking setting. With its thirteen-hour programmable timer I can add the ingredients and program my Zojirushi before going to bed.

My family wakes up to warm, delicious freshly baked bread. Not to mention how wonderful it is to wake up to the aroma of baking bread. In my search for a bread machine I came across countless reviews of other machines. One of the prevalent complaints many users expressed when listing the pros and cons of their bread machines was the need to “help” during the kneading process. Basically what this means is one is required to stand-by and “help” by manually pushing down the flour and partially mixed dough while the machine is cycling through the kneading setting. In some instances, if these bread machines do not get a helping hand the result is an unpalatable loaf with pockets of unmixed flour throughout. Apparently this is a common draw-back with single paddle bread machines.

Because the Zojirushi 2lb Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine sports two large paddles instead of just one, it does not need to be monitored and helped along. Double paddles also make adding ingredients such as nuts, dried fruit, onions and shredded cheese after the first rise a breeze. I have baked countless loaves of jalapeno-cheese bread and believe me when I tell you the cheddar cheese and chopped jalapeno peppers are evenly distributed throughout the dough. The result is a loaf of bread that looks almost as delicious as it tastes when it’s sliced. All the bells, whistles and extra features in the world don’t make a bit of difference to my family. The true test is the flavor of the bread. They love it. And I love my Zojirushi 2lb Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine.

I used to make bread with a bread maker all the time. Then, oddly enough the bread maker just stopped making good bread.

That was a long time ago, perhaps it is time to purchase a new machine… mmm, I am already dreaming of the smell.

You are making me hungry! Nothing like the smell of freshly baked bread on a cold winter day!

I’ve been hunting for a good bread maker, and this looks like a great resource. Keep up the good work!

Right now my wife is using a clunker of a bread maker. It sounds like a rusty chainsaw. I’m thinking we’ll have to go shopping soon. Good article.
