When giving my opinion on what is the best bread mixer, I fear that I will sound redundant.  To be completely honest, most bread machines today do a good job as a bread mixer.  That being said, the top ones are the larger machines from Zojirushi.  The dual kneading paddles help to ensure that the all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed before either moving to the next cycle or allowing you to remove the dough to finish the processing as you see fit.

A good bread mixer needs to thoroughly mix all the ingredients to ensure that they are evenly distributed throughout the whole loaf.  This helps to keep from getting lumpy or clumpy bread.

Sometimes, I get a little impatient during the mixing time.  I look in through the viewing window and see what looks like a perfectly mixed lump of dough.  I always get tempted to just pull it out and start working with it right away.   However, I always resist and let my little bread mixer do its job all the way to the end.

I know lately I have been sounding redundant touting the great features of the Zojirushi bread machine, but the fact is, I have owned/ used other brands.  This company has truly created a great brand and it is why I stake my reputation on it.

It is abundantly clear to us that Zojirushi is not fooling around when it comes to manufacturing top notch bread machines.  They are forever refining based on engineering advances and customer feedback.

Due to the long history of quality, Zojirushi stands behind their quality products.  My Zojirushi Bread Machine suffers maximum abuse, but it just keeps on ticking.  If you want a bread machine that is built like a tank, then do yourself a favor and buy the Zojirushi breadmaker.  You will not regret it.  I know I have not.  Now go bake some bread.

People are always asking me what is the best gluten free bread maker?  While this is an easy answer for me, I will also explain why as well.  For our money, the best gluten free bread maker is the the Zojirushi BBCCX20 Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine.  Hands down the best breadmaker to use for gluten free bread.

There are two main features that the Zojirushi bread machine boasts that few others do.  These features are what make it the best gluten free bread machine.

1.  Double Kneading Paddles- Due to the fact that some of the gluten free flour alternatives tend to be heavier or more dense, the dough can also be described the same way.  This can cause some of the single paddle machines to inadequately mix the dough thoroughly and therefore your bread suffers.  The double kneading paddles offers the strength needed to completely mix together all the gluten free bread ingredients.

2.  The Programmable Recipe Feature- Again, because of the different flours utilized in gluten free bead, and because these flours have unique baking needs, the preset baking programs on some bread machines limit your ability to make good bread.  The custom programming abilities of the Zojirushi Home Bakery allow you to specifically set the baking needs to what you want or need for your particular flour choice.

People who know I run this site but are too lazy to visit ask me what the best bread making machine is.  Now I have to admit I am partial to the Zojirushi bread maker.  The features it has to offer are the best in my opinion.

With that being said, the reality is any bread making machine is the best.  Think about it.  This has to be one of the best inventions of modern man.  Granted, not as good as Air Conditioning, that dude is in a class all his own for being awesome.

But when it comes to the kitchen, I can think of few modern technologies that surpass the automatic bread machine.  People say, “Greatest thing since sliced bread.”  I think it should be reworded to “greatest thing since the bread machine”  I thoroughly enjoy making bread with my bread machines.  Clean up is a snap and waking up to the smell of fresh baked bread is simple thanks to the delay timer which starts making the bread a few hours before I wake up in the morning.

Some friends ask whether or not it is really that good and worth the investment.  I simply want to know, do you eat bread?  Would rather have a healthier alternative to the preservative infused store varieties?  Would you rather have a more simple solution to arduous task of making bread from scratch the traditional way?

If the answer is yes, then do yourself a favor and by the best bread making machine.  Buy the Zojirushi.  If you are not ready to invest at that level then buy a lower end and grow into the better models.  Baking bread at home can be a joy for all.  A great family activity to both eat and consume.  I highly recommend you buy one today.

There is a reason the the Zojirushi BBCCX20 Home Bakery Supreme Bread Machine and the Panasonic SD YD250 Automatic Breadmaker are the top selling bread makers at Amazon.com.  They are simply the best for the money.

Panasonic offers a lower price while still offering a solid bread machine that has many great features.  A delay timer, an automatic yeast adder, pre-programmed crust settings, just to name a few.  The instruction manual comes with many great bread machine recipes to get you started.

All told, the Panasonic is a great machine for the price.  Definitely the lowest I would go on the price scale because, as with most things, you get what you pay for.

Zojirushi is the cat’s meow when it comes to bread machines.  I initially bought it for the sake of my readers to give them another option.  I was perfectly happy with my Panasonic, but no more.  I have not touched my Panasonic Breadmaker since I bought the Zojirushi.

The instruction manual is by far so much more easy to understand.  There are 2 kneading paddles instead of just one.  The loaf pan is horizontal instead of vertical, so your bread looks like what we are used to bread looking like.  It has a power fail backup.

Yes, it is double the price, and yes the Panasonic is a perfectly fine machine, but if you can afford the extra money, I emplore you, do not cheap out.  Make the extra investment.

I would like to hear from others who have had the benefit of using both Breadmakers.  Amazon customer reviews have pros and cons of each one, so obviously it is not an open and shut case.  What do you all think?  Or is there another brand you would like to enter into the great bread maker review debate.

Most Bread machines come with recipes included in the instruction manual. If yours did not, then you bought the wrong machine. From our experience, as far as usability goes, the Zojirushi Bread Machine has one of the best manuals on the market.

Even the Panasonic Bread machine recipes included in their manual are great to start with. We found the Panasonic breadmaker manual a little more difficult to navigate which is why we prefer the Zojirushi.

However, for some, moving beyond the offerings of the included manual will become a reality sooner rather than later. A desire for a broader base of recipes as well as more unique and exotic bread machine recipe will start you searching. Well search no more, we have done the research for you. Based on our research, we highly recommend buying a bread maker recipe book.

We have found most free sites sub par due to lack of specifics when it comes to measurements, ingredients, bake times, and bake temperature. Sure you can find some good ones, but the time you waste and the ingredients you waste in that pursuit are not worth it in our opinion.
